Our History

In 1976, Spectrum consisted of a few offices in the AA Mutual building in Rink street, Port Elizabeth. Four associates, shared one general office administrator who became seriously overworked in a very short time. More space was rented and more admin staff were hired and by the time that we left the AA Mutual building to move to our own premises at 11 St Patricks road in 1985, there were five associates and five admin staff.

Within a few years, we bought 13 and 15 St Patricks road next door, giving us a total office space of more than 700 square metres. Since then, it has been a continuous challenge to modernise and upgrade these buildings to accomodate our current team of 30 people.

As the business environment evolved from typewiters and landline telephones to faxes, cell phones, PC’s and the Internet, Spectrum values and objectives remained the same - to provide a totally independent service to help our clients to grow their wealth and to preserve their assets.

We now have state of the art technology and processes to efficiently service our clients who are now spread across South Africa and the rest of the globe.
